Ramen making and Agricrafts

Dorraine Scofield & Co. are headed to the Farm Fest this Wednesday at 5pm! Dorraine (12 & 6 string guitars & viola), JB Hunt (bass guitar) & Larry Balestra (congas/percussion) play an eclectic mix of covers and originals mostly acoustic with an easy-going melodic feel.

Oliver Wyman will be storytelling under the music tent from 3:30 - 4:30pm. He's been captivating adults and kids alike, so come hear him work his magic. Courtesy of The Golden Notebook.

Chef Curt Robair will be back for a ramen making demo at 5pm! This special event is in honor of the Woodstock Farm Festival's and the Woodstock Land Conservancy's screening of Tampopo on Saturday, August 18 at 6pm at Fiber Flame,1776 Route 212.

Stop by before the Andy Lee fireworks to watch the classic Japanese film that celebrates our connection to food and the making of the perfect noodle. It's so good and hard to come by, so don't miss this chance. It's free, and there will be snacks.

Oriole 9's Project Roots will also be back at the market to lead children in a agri-crafts project. They had a lot of fun last week, so don't miss out! From 4:30pm on.

Hard at work making rainbow salad last week

Also, Project Roots will be having a Potluck at their garden at the Woodstock Day School Thursday, August 16, 5-7pm. So, stop by and craft with us at the market and then visit the Project Roots to see where it all happens!

David Baggett will entertain us with his traditional, modern folk, blues and original compositions in the market from 5:30 - 7:30pm

Eve Fox at The Garden of Eating has made our job easy this week with her scrumptious post, Tomatoes Twelve Ways. We at the Farm Fest generally just shovel them into our mouths with salt for as long as the season permits, but here are twelve elegant and delicious alternatives should you tire of that.

And Migliorelli's corn is at its peak right now! Don't miss it or any of the other great stuff that's rolling in...
