School's out for Summer: Wednesday, June 27, 3:30 pm - dusk

Hey! Did you hear? We're having a pie contest! Basically, you want to bring your strawberry and/or rhubarb pie to the farmer's market by 4:00pm this Wednesday. We'll have some judging, some award-giving, and then we'll have a tasting at 5:30pm. So bring your best pie, or bring your best opinion about the best pie. The basic guidelines are that the fruit must be local but for all the rest of the details, check out our website

And join Elly, Lyn and Janice - aka The Cupcakes - on the main stage at 5:00 pm!

Cinder Conk will be playing in the market at 5:30pm. A Balkan band from Portland Maine, they'll be joined by NYC based folk fiddler, Ben Russell, to play original tunes as well as traditional Balkan.

Is that...CORN? This is Migliorelli's stand in Kingston on Saturday. They just might be bringing some to Woodstock on Wednesday....

Also, stop by for some summer squash, maybe the first cucumbers, cherries, raspberries, beautiful meats, cheese from The Amazing Real Live Food Company and the last week of beautiful starts from Monkshood Nursery

And why not stock up on maple syrup, salad greens, frozen tamales or pesto from Pika's?
