Music on the Main Stage: String Machine - String Machine delivers a distinctive and infectious blend of Bluegrass, Folk, Classic Country and String Band music, tinged with Swing, Irish, Blues, Rockabilly and other ingredients that spice up the rich gumbo of American music.  Show starts at 5pm on the main stage.

Music in the Farmer’s Market: Fiddle Music in the Farmers’ Market with Deb Tankard and Friends. Music starts at 5pm in the farmers’ market music tent.

Kids: Paint a flower pot and plant flowers and herb seeds in them with The Woodstock Garden Club Youth Program. 3:30– 4:30 on the main stage.

Recipe Contest Winner: Congratulations to the ladies from Regeneration CSA who were the Blue Ribbon Winners of last week’s Leafy Greens Recipe Contest. Keep an eye out, we’ll be posting their winning recipe soon.

Thank you to Violette for sponsoring and judging this contest and providing the prize of a $50 gift certificate to their wonderful Woodstock Restaurant.

Here’s the scoop:

Recipe Contest
Rules and Guidelines

Prepare a dish that features the vegetable of the week and join fellow Farm Festival shoppers for a recipe contest!
One week prior to the contest day, come to the Farm Festival to find out the key ingredient and stock up!
Go home, plan your recipe.  Prepare it and bring the dish back along with a list of ingredients and the recipe in writing. The recipes are due 3 PM - 5:30 PM on market day.

Prepared recipes will be judged by the sponsor restaurant at 6 PM.

One winner will be named and receive:

  • A $50 Gift Certificate to the sponsor restaurant!
  • A featured photo of winning dish on the Farm Festival blog
  • A featured photo of winning dish and name at following week’s farm festival.
  • The community’s admiration!
