Recipe Contest: Mushrooms

Prepare a dish using mushrooms and join fellow Farm Festival shoppers for a recipe contest! Prepare your dish and bring it to the market along with a list of ingredients and the recipe in writing. The recipes are due between 3 PM - 5:30 PM on market day and will be judged at 6 PM. This week’s judge is Violette.

One winner will be named and receive:

• A $50 Gift Certificate to Violette!
• A featured photo of winning dish on the Farm Festival blog
• A featured photo of winning dish and name at following week’s farm festival.
• The community’s admiration!

Silly musical comedy show with fun for both children and adults. Show starts at 5pm

Mountaintop School Puppet Shows

Fairy tales and folk tales from around the world told with natural woolen table puppets and silk marionettes. Show starts at 4pm.

Music:

Dave Kearney

Dave got his first guitar, a Sears Silvertone with hula dancers on it, from his father when he was nine years old. Now a singer/songwriter, he writes and performs songs about the human condition. Show starts at 3pm
